What matters most in life isn’t what you earn, but how you live, love, and stay healthy.
Most people in the world are crazy about earning money and achieving financial success, while some are always worried about their physical health and well-being. There are also some who take their personal relationships so seriously that if, for any reason, that relationship breaks, they become mentally depressed or even contemplate suicide.
After all, understanding what matters most in life—money, health, or relationships—can completely change how you live and make decisions. If this question is on your mind, this blog will help you explore what matters most in life and guide you to focus on the right priorities.
There are three types of people in the world, which I will briefly discuss today. After that, you can decide for yourself which type of person you belong to.
What Matters Most in Life: People Who Value Money
Most people in the world believe that financial stability and wealth creation are the most important aspects of life. Throw money at someone’s face, and that person will become your slave. Such people also believe that if a person wants, they can buy the whole world with money. People with such a mentality are crazy about earning money through business, high-paying jobs, or even investments. These people do all kinds of good and bad work to accumulate wealth. You will find the arrogance of financial success in most of the rich people in the world.
Such people give more importance to money than to their family. Wealthy individuals or their children spend a lot of money on their luxurious lifestyles, expensive cars, and branded products, but they do not like to help any needy person at all. There are only a few rich people in the world who donate and also help the needy, of whom we should be proud. According to Forbes, proper financial planning and responsible use of wealth can make a real difference in life. All such people fall into the first category of “people who value only money in life.”
What Matters Most in Life: People Who Value Health
There are some people in the world who give importance only to their health and fitness. Such people are so sensitive about their well-being that if their body feels even a little hot, they immediately go to the doctor to get medicine for their fever. Such people keep getting complete body check-ups done every three or six months without any reason, and if some figures in their reports increase even a little, they become very worried.(Harvard Health Publishing)
Such people strictly follow their daily routine, practice yoga, exercise regularly, and want other people to follow their disciplined lifestyle like them. Such people are very careful about their diet and nutrition and avoid eating outside. They drink only mineral water and follow a strict fitness regimen. If such people stand in the sun for a long time or work too hard, they fall ill. Most of the wealthy people in the world are extremely conscious of their health.
There are some people in the world who measure their diabetes and blood pressure daily with a machine lying in their house and write down whatever readings appear in their diary. Is it a good thing to draw blood from the body every day to measure diabetes? I don’t think so. Many times, due to a mistake in the machine, if diabetes or blood pressure is shown to be high or low, people get very worried and rush to the doctor’s clinic.
It is a good thing to be sensitive about one’s health, but it is not a good thing that, in order to protect their health, a person forgets to enjoy life. If you also fall into this category, then I tell you that being worried about your health all the time is also a mental suffering that could harm your overall well-being in the coming days. Life is given only once, and it should be lived by enjoying it well.
What Matters Most in Life: People Who Value Relationships
There are some people in the world who consider relationships as their everything. For such people, nothing else matters as much as relationships do. People who give importance to relationships can be from rich, poor, or middle-class families. Most people in the world give the most importance to “loving relationships.” After that, there are some people who give importance to the relationship between “husband and wife.” You will not believe it, but there are some people in the world who give the most importance to “secret relationships” called extramarital affairs.
Although there are many types of relationships in the world, but the most importance is given to only these three relationships. If the relationship is good, then the person remains very happy all the time, but if there is a rift in the relationship, then the person is completely broken.
The breaking of a relationship affects the mental health of the person, and they remain in depression the whole day. Some people feel so much emotional pain after breaking up from a relationship that they start thinking that their life in this world is useless, and finally, they commit suicide.
If you come into the category of those who give importance to relationships, then I request you to give more importance to the relationship of “husband and wife” and take care that repeated fights over small matters do not lead to divorce.
If you are not married and you are in a love relationship with your partner, then definitely give importance to it. But if, for some reason, that relationship breaks up, then do not believe that your life is useless. Rather, believe that you will find an even better life partner in the coming days who will keep you happy throughout your life.
To those people who are depressed due to the breaking up of relationships and are thinking of committing suicide, I would only say that the most important relationship in life is yours with your parents.
If you get depressed or die, then it won’t matter to those because of whom you left this world, but it will definitely matter to those who love you from the heart, like your parents, children, siblings, and true friends.
What Matters Most in Life: How to Prioritize Money, Health, and Relationships
A person should give the most importance to their health because if they are healthy, they will be able to earn good money by working hard. If they earn good money, they will find a good and trustworthy life partner who will love them and stay with them forever.
In the end, I just want to say: do not worry too much about minor health issues, do not become obsessed with financial success by any means, and do not ruin your life by getting depressed over cracks in relationships. If you have life, live it happily because there is no guarantee of tomorrow. Who knows? Death may come to take us at any time.
